...that there doesn't seem to be a way for the new
seller to tap the knowledge of the veterans and
FIND OUT how much to charge. The items that I
have for trade or sale don't have prices next to
them. Why not? Because the one time I made an
initial attempt to get help with pricing on this
forum, I was told in no uncertain terms that if I
was just going to sell something, I shouldn't have
bought it in the first place. Well, feh... that's
not only unhelpful, but kind of insulting.
So here I sit with a bunch of spare Tenchi OVA and
Ranma cels, no real idea what to charge for the
various characters, and therefore no real option
but to list them as "make offer" or put 'em on
eBay.
If someone with some know-how could volunteer a
bit of their expertise to help me slap reasonable
prices on these things, I'd greatly appreciate it.
If, however, you'd prefer to lecture me on not
buying batch lots unless I plan to keep every
bloody cel, please keep it to yourself.
Do I sound frustrated? *grin* I suppose I am...
I've spent the entire afternoon scanning cels,
still have a mess left to go, and I HATE dealing
with eBay. I'd really rather sell these critters
directly and not have to deal with the whole
auction environment. |
