Re: CEL BAGS!! Mylar or Polypropylene?? (Sun May 7 01:21:05 2000

Mylar is a very stable and long lasting plastic. I think it's used mainly for storing paper and cloth items but I've seen it used for a lot of other things. I use a lot of mylar for my paper collectibles. I'm not sure how well mylar works with cels though. Does anyone here use mylar bags for their cels? I was always under the impression that mylar is kind of sticky to other plastics. Has anyone had any cel sticking problems with mylar bags? It seems to me that todays polypropylene bags last longer than the old ones. I put my polypropylene cel bags in the direct sun for 30 hours to see if they would discolor but they never did. I should have tried it longer. Maybe someone can do another junk cel experiment. ^_^ Terence |
