As I remembered reading a Japanese anime magazine (forgot it
is Animage or Animedia), it said all the characters are done
on computers. Some backgrounds are still done by hands,
then scan to the computers to composite with the digital
frames. On the other hand, Pokemon and Monster Rancher are
still done on cels.
