Hello Okay, now here's a situation I've found myself in more than once. Sometimes I know I'm /one of/ the first to a site, but maybe not THE first. I don't know if my order will be taken or not, so I ask for three good cels, even though I would be quite content with one of them. So sometimes I get all three. Then I feel bad because I know that there are probably other people who want the cels, but I also would feel bad to cancel part of my order so that others could have the 'extra' cels. So I often end up with more good cels than I want... (We should all be so lucky, eh?) Now, I'm not going to give up my asking for three in the hopes of getting one, because to miss out on second favorites when your very favorite is already gone seems to suck, too. And usually I'm quite happy to keep all three, only I feel guilty that I get so many and others go without. An example of this was my getting three Kasumi cels from Animanga recently. I would have been happy with any one, and asked for three with the hopes that one was still there. They all were still available, so I now have three Kasumi cels, even though it's possible that someone else would have really wanted them. So what should I do? Dealers, would you want people to say 'Well, I really only want one' at the very beginning, and state which one they want the most and so on in descending order? Would you rather have people cancel and pass the cel on to the second person who requested? I encourage all cel dealers to answer this question for those of us who spend entirely too much time online, but don't want to be pigs. ^_^ Ryochan |
