Some of Mangaya's prices seem fair, while others seem exorbitant (much like their used LD prices). For example, yesterday they posted a cel from Macross Flash Back 2012 for $1600.00. Although nice Macross cels are pretty rare (especially cels from Flash Back, which had under 10 minutes of actual new animation), this cel wasn't particularly wonderful (unlike their $2500.00 Love - Do You Remember? cel :o~~~). This begs the question: How much is too much to pay for any one cel? Is any piece of acetate really worth upwards of $2000? I'm curious--what's the most people here have ever spent on a cel? Would you pay $2000 for your dream cel? I don't think Mangaya is going to move those cels any time soon, but I guess I could be wrong.
