I suggest you go and use another bank!
$42 USD is outrageous, it costs the bank only a couple of cents to
"wire" a message / payment. I can only say you are being taken for a
ride.
As for the time to transfer the money, as raised by other people
the physical transfer takes only seconds the rest is tied up
in paperwork / emails / filling in forms. If you bank takes too
long to do this sort of thing then try another. You don't have
to have an account with a bank to get them to send money for you,
most banks are more than happy to take your money, especially if
they can charge $42 for doing it!
My bank does the transfer the same day, at the very latest. |
