Certainly the language might be a problem.
But I don't agree with comments about payments, IPMOs aren't
the only way to transfer money, almost any major bank can
give you a draft, in foreign currency, which is just like sending
a local bank cheque in that country(this needs nothing more than the receivers
name, surenly this isn't too dificult for them). Otherwise
you can send it via a swift message, again almost all banks
anywhere can handle this type of message, from the ZENSHINREN BANK (Swift Code ZENBJPJTXXX)
to the BANK OF JAPAN (Swift Code BOJPJPJTXXX). Banks which
do not have swift access work through banks which do. Again there
is no real issue in getting the transfer details, apart from the receiver
needing to know their name, the banks name and the account number
(things any normal bank account holder already knows). I think the whole
excuse of making payment too dificult is nonsence. As has already been
pointed out the seller has all the cards, they don't ship till they
are paid, and it is up to the buyer to make the payment work! Nothing
exceptional is required of the seller.
The only real issue I can see is the language, and there it is fair enough if
you can't speak / write the language then why bother?
Just my thoughts..... |
