I like eBay for the little stuff, but when it comes to things I *really* want, I usually just put insane bids on stuff - like $500 for something I know will only go for $100 - although sometimes I'm surprised! @_@ That way I'm sure to get it and don't have to keep checking back. I have a bad habit of bidding or bookmarking something and then forgetting about it until a week after it ends. I'm one of the people who hates auctions. :) I'd much rather just *buy* something than have to sit and wait for days and days on end. I'll never understand why people prefer auctions. I just sold two cels that were on my site for $15 each for $30 and $20.50 - I just don't see the reasoning behind wanting to pay more; eBay seems more and more like a playground for un-informed newbies. :( How about all the un-honest (is that the word I'm looking for?) users, though? There are so many people who intentionally lie and misuse the bidding system...... I've gotten so many people kicked off eBay, it's insane. I'd think more people would worry about their own auctions than trying to antagonize me. ^_~ I think I need to learn the "sit on your hands" technique, too.... xane |
