I love auctions. Why?
Because right now I am staying up on the off chance
that Taro will update with GW cels while, as Murphy's
Law dictates, GW cels will only be updated the night
I give up and fall asleep (and believe me it's TRUE).
At least, for an auction, I have to set my alarm clock
(at worst) to one insane hour of the night that is
pre-determined.
Although yes I tend to forget bidding dates. And I lost
some things I really loved that way. :(
As for the stopwatch thing...
Do you also check the number of hops from your server
to Ebay's and calculate the minumum time for you to push
the button and the bid to get there in time? :P
I think most people who are not courrageous enough to
put $500 right away do like me, put in a reasonable bid
(a little high but nothing completely insane) then come
back and at the last moment when faced with possibly losing
the cel, bid BIG. :)
