Hi Here's my two cents: the only time I am personally offended by this 'turn around and sell at a profit' is when the person snagged the cel before I could get it. There's something frustrating about someone getting a cel within the first few moments of posting and then turning around to sell it at an extreme profit. I have myself bought cels I know to have been undervalued (cheap) and sold them at a profit to help support my own cel habit. I make a policy NOT to rush in and grab cels when they are first posted with the intent of selling. Here's an example of something that I personally feel is OK, but I acknowledge that there are those who have every right to disagree with me. I spent a large amount of money at AnimeExpo on cels for myself. While I was there I saw that those machine-reproduction cels were selling for less than half the cheapest price I'd seen them for elsewhere. I snagged a set with the complete intention of selling them. There was no shortage at the con, and I knew there would be people who would very much like to have them. CONTD |
