Just though I'd add my personal experience with this...
One of the local post offices I frequent recently installed the
new computer system and although they still have some complications
with it (i.e. unfamiliarity with functions, different sequences for
transactions, procedure, etc...) they are stil able to do IPMO's from
what I've seen.
So, I don't think that the post offices will stop doing IPMO's just
because of the new system.... It could be just that your post office
is cutting down on the services it offers. One other post office I went
to actually asked me how many IPMO's I would be purchasing in the future
because they only kept small quantities on hand.
And even another one I went to, didn't do them at all..
So I think it really depends on the post office. |
