While a few did abandon the hobby, most simply 
got tired of coming here and wading through "For 
Sale" posts, "show me" threads, and Auction 
announcements to get to actual conversations. 
Then we had to slither through flame-wars caused 
by folks who did not have the guts to use their 
screen name. I check in here now and then, but 
for the most part I spend my time at another forum
(where the rest of the forum regulars you miss 
have gone). This site has really gone down hill, 
and Yann has not posted a topic in ages or 
updated his cel page in nearly a year. At least 
the mods at the other forum check in and interact 
with members on a daily basis.
