I went to wallmart bought some picture frames,
then took that cheep glass out and put some uv,
non-glare protective glass in with an acid free
backing paper and got some of the scraps from
that and put them inbetween parts on the cel that
didn't have any paint on them. So that the cel
wouldn't touch the backing, just in case my air
conditioner breaks i won't have to worry about
the cel sticking. The only problem i have is
that i can't get any uv protected plexiglass. I
live4 in California and several times things have
fallen of my families walls even though we are
about two hundred miles from any major fault
line. So I each cel mounting with plastic wall
anchors and L brackets to keep it from coming
out. I need to find some uv protective
plexiglass. $3 for frame , $12 for glass, $5 for
backing. 20 dollars altogether. With the scrap
backing it makes sure the cel doesn't slide
around any. But professionally framed one look
nicer. |
