I'm not getting into the argument, I just want to 
point out that of people who request cels, less 
than five percent want anything 'original' 
(original characters, original poses, etc).  I'd 
be *VERY* happy if more people wanted original 
stuff.  No one was even interested in non-
screencap images until I started doing some on my 
own, for myself and a couple of friends.  

So either a) most people have no imagination
b) people don't trust me to draw worth a damn
c) people are stuck wanting a cel from a 
particular scene they can't find/afford and 
aren't interested in anything else.

Knowing that, I can't really blame people for 
making screencap cels instead of original stuff 
to make a fast buck, because I've seen some 
gorgeous original stuff go for less than a cheap 
copy of a dragonball cel.  It sucks.  

As for Misha's comment about CLAMP not wanting 
people to use their artwork in any way on their 
website... I actually only knew about them not 
wanting their pictures posted online (which is 
why I don't put comparison pictures in my 
gallery).  I've been trying to download a 
japanese language set on my computer for over a 
year, but it won't take it so when O went there, 
I just saw random %^$@ characters and such.
