I'll admit I don't have a speedy computer or use 
Evil Empire's browser of choice, but I'm finding 
that I have to disable java to access more and 
more sites.

For many months now, I've had to disable java 
before accessing the Keep Track page.  Before, I 
just got a handful of pop-up ads.  Then it started 
to freeze my browser.  Off goes the java---the 
page loads fine.

Now, just in the last couple of weeks, I'm 
experiencing the same thing on the forum.  I 
assume its because of new pop-up ads.  :-(

Since some other sites require java for proper 
use, has anyone found a workaround?

Heck, I would gladly pay a buck a month for the 
ability to access the forum, if it would get rid 
of all the ads.  (As unpopular as pay-sites are, I 
think it is inevitable that the free ride must end 
someday.  Internet advertising never quite bloomed 
into the cash cow that it was supposed to be.)
