Alrighty, it's my turn to crab about eBay
bidders! >:O
Alright, we all know what Buy-it-Now is, I'm
sure, as almost all of us here use eBay, or have
at LEAST looked at auctions on there.
For the auctions I had up a few days ago, I put
the option, "Use Buy-it-Now and receive shipping
and insurance within the USA!"
So... here's my problem:
I had a CD box set up, and it ended around $20
something. It had been bid on many times, so the
Buy-it-Now option disappeared, ne?
Well, a girl won, sent the payment INSTANTLY to
PayPal, which is good. But it was sans
shipping.
I emailed her and politely notified of her of her
mistake and she rudely emails back saying "Yes, I
am aware I did not send shipping funds. Your
auction states those who use Buy-it-Now get free
shipping and insurance. Now I expect you to
fully pay these for me or else."
O_o
I politely emailed her back with a link to eBay's
Buy-it-Now program. Explained to her what it
meant, then she emails again and says "I know
what Buy-it-Now is, thank you very much. But
your auction specifically states that those who
win with Buy-it-Now get free shipping. This is
very horrible of you. You should be more clear
in your auctions. Now I suggest you ship my
product. I can easily find this for $10 or more."
I email her back and tell her flatly that she is
going to be pay for the shipping, or she'll get
no auction item.
I go to PayPal tonight and see she's filed a
complaint on me, so I'm pretty pissed off.
Do ANY of you here see what's fair? ;_; I want
to know if I DID make a mistake, but all the
other bidders I've had KNOW what BiN is, and how
the program works.
-_- GRRR. *goes to e-mail eBay with the emails
she saved in her "sent" folder*
