Not necessarily an attack on you. I didn't so
much as mean that the person who was the top
bidder was the trendy buyer- hell, you could have
simply been the devoted fan trying to knock away
the trend-competition you had to go against for
the cel. I'm saying it most likely wouldn't have
sold for as much a year or so ago, not because
you didn't think it was worthy enough for you,
but simply because I don't think there would have
been as much competition simply because the scope
of fans was narrower back then.

Also, I didn't say or imply that CN was a factor
for everyone. If it came across like that in my
post, then it was an honest mistake. I'm just
saying it's played a large part in the increase
in cel cost- as we have seen happen in the past
when DBZ hit CN, and Tenchi Muyo, etc.

I also completely agree with you on the few
cels/given shows thing. Some people prefer
quantity and others quality. I prefer quality
myself, and have a handful of cels from certain
shows each simply because I wait to spend my
money on just_the_right_one.

And yes, Feral Inu Yasha cels are rare and few (
and tiny! Just a little spec of an Inu Yasha
with glowing red eyes ) and have been at the top
of my own personal wishlist for a long time ( my
friend in fact sent me the link to that auction
when it was first getting started and I was
like, "Yeah right, that baby will go waaaaaaay up
there" simply because it was such a good
one.

Also, I think you mistook my post. It was
supposed to be a generalization of the rise in
cel prices in relation to CN, not a personal
attack on your auction. I just mentioned it
because I thought it was a good example of a
fabulous cel really getting into the heat of
competition between fans. Regardless it's
beautiful and for you to have bid what you have,
you must have a deep love and respect for the
item and show and hopefully you will be very
happy with it.
