OK, going back and reading it, it does sound a bit
bone-headed since I didn't quite explain. So here
goes . . .

I am actually referring to American bidders using
deputy service as well as some frequent Japan
bidders who I have seen bid on certain types of
auctions. From my experiences on more than one
auctions, every time I had seen that ID, the
auctions tend to go WAY WAY UP (this is from what
I have seen on most of the auctions I had observed
in the past few months which were quite a few)! A
lot of bidders (like me and I am assuming I am not
the only one) get intimidated when they see that
ID because typically (from what I have
experienced), the bid goes a lot higher than what
I would think the cel is worth (I know you can't
put a value on a cel, but I am referring to just
OVERALL value) and knowing that, I tend to just
pass the auction by whenever I see that ID (and
checking the bid history, there are only 3 other
ID's bidding with 19+ bids total!!).

As far as the fees go, you actually save up to $60
for up to 100,000 yen and it starts adding up.
So, from what I have seen (referring to high end
cels that value $400+ such as Demon or Human Inu
Yasha), people who want that cel bad enough would
bid 100,000 yen even though the cel 'usually' goes
for $600 or what not. I had noticed this trend
since December when they had their 'Cel Sale'.
And another thing is that Rinkya uses credit card
and you don't need to pay ahead of time. So it is
easy to forget when you are stuck in the midst of
the competition wanting to win!
This is from what I had observed in the past 6-8
months.
