It depends on your relationship with the deputy
in question. Once, a deputy that I use frequently
forgot to bid on two items for me. One hadn't
been bid on at all and was relisted, but the
other ended with a winning bid. Needless to say,
the person bid on the item that had been relisted
and gave me a small discount on the commission
for forgetting the other item. It was nice, but
would have been small consolation if the other
item had been something I wanted a lot.
You might want to voice your concerns to the
deputy in question. Ask if there's something you
can do on your end to make things easier for
them. (Maybe putting multiple requests into
different e-mails, or item numbers/ending dates
in the subject lines, etc -- who knows what might
simplify things for them.)
