The purpose of the AL legal notice was to inform 
people (buyers and sellers alike) that AL has the 
exclusive sole licensed rights to SELL the cels. 
AL is -not- going to prosecute you if you didn't 
purchase the VHD cels from them specifically 
(complete waste of time). But, AL must inform the 
general public by posting the info directly on 
their site. The purpose is akin to announcing 
foreclosures, disbarred attorneys, and city 
projects in the newspaper. And most importantly, 
AL was instructed to do so from the other 
companies that own the rights to the VHD film 
itself. If you don't believe this, ask AL 
directly, enough with this senseless AL bashing. 
Licensing and the rights that go with it are 
legally enforcible, but it doesn't mean you will 
be prosecuted (in this instance) if you were the 
unknowing victim of stolen products. Also, it's 
asinine and completely unrealistic for AL to 
expend time and money to hunt down thieves within 
foreign studios and other participants in stolen 
VHD property. If you want to dispel these 
misunderstandings and overwhelming speculation, 
please get the truth from the horses mouth and 
cease the rumors and bashing. Thank you.
