I find that seems to work best.  

I emailed her about the same thing, and she has 
already asked a deputy to bid on the auctions on 
YJ.  However, she recently had some unexpected 
expenses come up, as we all have before, so 
instead of welching on her deputy bids, she is 
simply seeing if anyone else is interested in 
them.

For me, I am kind of glad. *hehehe* I was going 
to shell out $65 for a set of 3 cels on YJ that I 
only wanted one of, but now if she wins, I can 
spend less and only get the one I really want 
directly from her!  ^_^
