I won't be going and that's fine by me. It's too 
crowded there now, the lines are too long and the 
cel dealers no longer stock the cels I collect in 
any case.

It's still fun being there if you're going with 
friends or if you're meeting people there that 
you know, but otherwise there's little reason for 
me to go there. Unfortunately it's too easy to 
see anime quickly these days and by the time they 
get to showing them at AX you've already seen 
them six to eighteen months ago. The big anime 
premiere movies go directly to regular theater 
now and not AX.
