I must say I am sad I'm not going this year.  Why?  Well, I'd love to see the friends I met 
last year again, the volunteers!

I just so happened to be a volunteer last year, (2nd time volunteering, 3rd AX) and I must 
say I had a blast.  I met some of the best people and had a great time.  This is from someone 
who went alone, since I don't really know many online people.  I'd say volunteering is 
definitely worthwhile if you don't know anyone but still want to attend.
My "average visitors experience" in '01 was not much fun, but that's another story.  -_-
