I was just being stupidly sarcastic (as usual) 
and laughing at myself.

The whole thing is just weird, really :-)  The 
idea of having a web site to sell things but not 
giving out its address to some of your 
potentially best customers is... their choice I 
guess, but weird.

As to being ostracized, well, the people who 
are "left out" end up wondering what's wrong with 
them, that they're not good enough to be 
included.  It's silly but there you have it.
