The way I look at it is - a sale is a privilage, 
not a right.  He annouced last week that a sale 
was coming.  Granted he didn't say exactly when, 
but we all knew it could happen at any day.  I 
don't think it's fair to say he "should have" 
done it any other way.  It's his sale, after 
all.  

Sometimes I don't want to know exactly when a 
sale is and I prefer the element of 
surprise... ;-)
