I was wondering, has anyone else experienced any
similar problems with dealers? Specifically,
I contacted various dealers prior to the last
anime expo and asked about cels. Most were kind
enough to share with me what they had or they
informed me that the items were unfortunately
packaged already and that it would be best contact
them shortly thereafter. Ok fair enough, at least
they gave me the courtesy of letting me know what
was going on.
Now, this is where my situation gets slightly
irritating. I contacted a dealer (whom I will not
name, yet) and an employee informed me that she
would email me with scans. Well, over one
month after AX passed by and I received no emails
whatsoever, so I followed-up with a friendly
request for an update and the scans. However, more
time passed and still, there was no reply from
this dealer and/or any of the staff! In total, I
sent over five emails after AX requesting anyone
working with the dealer to please let me know what
was the situation. Also, in each email I sent, I
included the previous emails and the original
comments by the employee who never took the time
to reply. I know they company did not close down
because they had updates during this period. So,
my question is, what now? I feel as if I was
mislead by the representative of the dealer and
that my subsequent emails to the dealer/company
went ignored for unknown reasons. Assuming the
individual does not work there anymore, one would
think it would be reasonable for someone else to
read and reply the emails addressed to a former
employee, correct?
Ultimately, I feel like this dealer/company
conducted themselves extremely unprofessionally
and their customer service and response to emails
is slipshod. Has anyone else encountered a similar
experience, that they would care to share? Also,
if you have any suggestions on how the dealer
could remedy the situation, I’d like to hear it
too. I won’t waste my time
& monies calling them , but I do think it is
important enough of an issue to bring it to the
forums attention.
