It's been really interesting reading everyone's
takes on this! I had no idea that some people
went so far as to digitally repair little nicks
in the paint, etc.
Also, the first thing that everyone listed as an
edit they make is to change the brightness, etc,
of the scan so it better matches the cel. I've
always done this, but never once considered it to
be editing. . . Probably since I adjust all that
in a preview window before the scan is made. ^_^;
For the record, as a gallery viewer, I more like
to see a person's cels presented in an original
way that reflects something about how the owner
feels about them. ^_^ And I like to read what
people have to say about their cels. Usually only
after I take in all that do I actually look
closely at the scan itself. ^_^
And by the way, spinizuey. . . "Smacktard"? I
think I have a new favorite word! (*laughing*)
