If you are running IE, I would suggest that you 
have your security setting to at least Medium, 
that way, you will always be prompted when you 
visit a page that wants to install spyware.  
Sure its annoying every second time coming here 
and getting something that asks if you want to 
install "SpamX" on your computer, but this way 
nothing will ever be installed without your 
knowledge.  Only other thing I can suggest is 
use another browser, like Mozilla, which has 
popup blockers built in.
