As someone who was (and still sort of is) a 
newbie at cel collecting, I can appreciate the 
patience that most collectors have for idiots 
like I used to be.  I once made an offer on a cel 
that was about half of what it was worth.  When 
the collector emailed me back with the true value 
of the cel I felt: embarrased/shocked at how much 
it really cost/like an idiot for offering so 
little.  Eventually I paid the price that the 
collector wanted, and am very happy with the 
cel.  But that one mortifying experience made me 
really happy that the person hadn't yelled at me, 
or been too insulted with my obviously 
low/unresearched offer on their cel.
