I myself have never purchased a cel from an anime 
that I haven't seen.  For me, there has been some 
kind of attachment to the character in addition 
to the pretty art.  That's not to say that I 
disapprove of the practice.  People should buy 
what they like.  It's a simple as that.

Now, in reality, people aren't necessarily going 
purchase a cel for that reason.  Perhaps they buy 
it because they do see a future profit.  But even 
if we all vote condemn that behavior, it is 
really going to make a difference?  People are 
going to do whatever they want because they can.

And on a related note...what's with all this 
anonymous posting? I'm speaking in general, not 
just to the original poster. I mean, so you post 
something that someone else disagrees with.  Big 
deal.  So someone goes as far as to flame you.  
Big whooping deal. ^_^  There's a lot worse 
things that can happen to you than having someone 
you don't even know, someone that has no bearing 
on your "real" life say something nasty to or 
about you. Just my opinion. ^_^;
