Yes, definitely argue the point with them to get
as close to what you feel that you're entitled to
as you can. That's not to say kick and cry and
rant on the phone, of course, but to be very
professional and adult about it. But
persistent. ;o)
Personally, I'm one of those people who hates
arguing with people I don't know. I'll back down,
even if I know that I'm in the right. My husband,
on the other hand, has no qualms about insisting
on his rights. *g*
I still watch in amazement when he handles the
credit card companies, the insurance companies,
and so on. If he had just accepted whatever the
customer-service person told us, we wouldn't be
in nearly as good a position right now.
I tell you, he hasn't even finished his second
semester of law school yet, but we've already
seen a nice, hefty return on the tuition-
investment. *lol* A little knowledge can be a
dangerous thing... and so can persistence and
insistence and a mature attitude.
