I don't know, I think its good that people are
asking questions before bidding on an auction,
that way they don't regret it later. But what
seems like a stupid question to you might be very
important to them. I, myself, have asked many
stuid questions when i first started collecting
and its how I learnt over time. And i think its
only good business to be understanding to these
customers needs and inquiries. I'm sure many
dealers here have also gone thru
numberious "dumbass" questions. Recently, i too
keep getting email I'd love to ignore, but i
think its only good business to show patience and
answer the questions as friendly as I can. I
don't think its wrong for people to throw money
on an auction that they know little about..hey if
ya see something worthwhile..why not? Some of my
most expensive cels I knew very little about them
before actaully receiving them because the
auctions were in Japanese, and I asked as many
questions as I could. I think these people are
actaully being very smart. If they are spending
so much money on a cel, i'd think they should ask
as many questions about it as possible
anyways, all im trying to say is that instead of
being annoyed with them, just sit back and take a
deep breath. Buyers that are asking questions are
actaully the ones more serious about the auction
than people who dont even take the time to ask in
my opinion. |
