I prefer subs, for a variety of reasons.  One, 
Weiss Kreuz is one of my favorite series, and 
the main characters are (to a degree) based 
on the seiyuu.  With that series in 
particular the dub is just *not* the same.  
(Though the english voice actor "outtakes" 
section on the dvds is quite fun. ^_^)

Then there's CCS...the hacked up into bits and 
rearranged show that's Cardcaptors is certainly 
not the same as the original.

And part of it is just that I like the sound of 
Japanese.  But, since I usually buy my anime on 
dvd, I'll occasionally have the dub on if the 
anime is background noise while I'm focusing my 
attention on something else (like rearranging my 
cel books, which I really need to do again).
