While I have no prejudice against subtitles, I 
prefer dubs most of the time for one simple 
reason: the audio is usually better. When you 
have subtitles, the Japanese uadio is usually 
hard to make out, and the inflections of the 
voices are hard to make out as well. Sometimes, I 
actually like to watch a show in English and with 
subtitles just to see how far it has diverged. 
It's pretty fascinating sometimes.
