I think that you are speaking for yourself... 
Personaly, I like a lot reproduction cels : They 
are usualy bigger than production cel and of much 
higher quality. Also, the picture represented is 
usualy much more interesting than a normal cel as 
they are mostly based on hanken cels.
Another advantage is that they are hand-inked. So 
if you want to frame and display them, they are 
much less sensitive to light and UV.
Yes, there is several copies of each but they are 
still hand-painted and produced in a limited 
quantity. For each cel, there is work involved. 
It's not like a lithography or poster that can be 
printed at any number of copies just by pushing a 
button...
In fact, if you consider the work involved to 
produce one of those limited edition, they 
probably have a higher "base" value than a 
production cel : much more time is needed to draw 
and paint one :) A production cel value comes from
it's collectable value. A limited edition cel 
value come mostly from the costs involved in 
produced it and also from its collectable value 
even if it's less than for a production cel.
