Funimation has gone after sites before for just
about anything related to DBZ, including
videogame mods. I believe their license does
include 'distinctive likenesses', so they could
go after a site like the one mentioned in this
thread. Just fire off some e-mails to Funimation
and see what they say.
The site mentioned before also updated their
front page regarding people asking to remove cels
and about getting a 'new' provider. It does seem
like an endless cycle reporting each site as they
find a new provider, but there's only so many
places that can host a site with a lot of
graphics like that. Ah well, best of luck to you.
(my DBZ cels have made it up there. . .this is
why I decided to watermark my cels several months
ago, although removing watermarks also seems to
be a hobby of these people) |
