I wish you would have read all my posts (Thu Jan 17 12:48:51 2002 )

Did you see where I said:

And I do agree with you. I was very torn on the
two cels I was going for, on whether or not I
should offer more. That is why I decided to let
someone else who really wants them more than me
to keep the high offers.

I also said that I was more floored by the
current going price for the Keisuke cel. Someone
out there must really love him.

I *AM* happy for people who are going to get
dream cels, like Tara. I know that if people
like her are going to be the winners that the
cels are going to loving homes and more than
likely won't be resold. I also think that anyone
that has high bids in that has spoken to me in
email knows that I am not saying this in a
hurtful way (which I have repeatedly said). I am
always happy when someone gets a dream cel.

Also, there have been times in the past, when I
was still a lurker, and people have discussed
different things that I had either bid on (not
necessarily won all the time) or bought outright
and said how the price was too high. It didn't
hurt my feelings a bit.

In fact, someone emailed me privately about my
post (and was very nice, btw) and in my response
to her, I said what I was trying to get. To *me*
if I pay more than a certain price for a cel, all
I can think about is what I paid for it. BUT, if
it is a dream cel (which I will admit I have very
few) then more than likely, I will completely
forget how much I paid for it.

I wish I would have posted in the original
thread, where it was apparantly okay to voice
your opinion, and people didn't accuse others of
having a sugar daddy boyfriend (which *was*
insinuated here) or of being a poor sport. If I
was being a poor sport I would have
said, "Whoever is the high bidder on the Keisuke
cel is a poopyhead! I want that cel! *stomp feet
and throw tantrum."
