As far as experience goes, between the ages of 18-
25 a year or two means a LOT. As evidenced by
numerous collegiate experiences with people
younger than I am and interactions with those
older than I am. When you're in your late 20s,
early 30s and after, a year or two isn't so much
a big deal. But an immense level of mental,
emotional, and intellectual growth takes place
between the ages of 18-25. Some mature quickly,
others slowly..but you can't look at a group of
16 year olds, 23 years olds, or even 50 year olds
and separate the "upstanding members of society"
from the irresponsible, destructive crazy whack
jobs.
It sucks to be young. Good thing you're getting
older all the time. It could be worse. If you are
an ethnic minority, some people are going to
think you're an irresponsible, fraudulent
criminal no matter how old you are. =)
