Eh. I feel like I shouldn't say anything. But
again I foolishly must take a stand. I know that
the ebay rules state you must be over 18. I think
this has something to do with laws on minors
bidding or something. But I don't understand how
someone under 18 automatically cannot make an
online transaction. In fact, I think that on the
whole people between the age of 14-17 (OF WHICH I
AM NO LONGER ONE OF, so whoever it was that told
ebay that I wasn't 18 can sleep soundly,
especially since I had to fax them my birth
certificate to reinstate my membership and sell
on ebay again...no thanks to whoever it was) are
often treated like criminals or just idiots for
no reason. Which is why you get pointles curfew
laws and the like... (which means if I drove home
at 2 AM last year I would have been breaking the
law, but now it's ok). I don't see how one or two
years difference really makes you that much
smarter or experienced. Of course it depends on
the person. Like that survery someone had on here
about the average age of cel collectors... quite
a few were under 18. I started collecting cels
when I was 15. I say if someone is responsible
enough to buy expensive animation art online,
they should be trusted with an auction.
Anyway. That's just what I think.
