I fail to see how cels are illegal. The anime 
studio does own the intellectual property of the 
cel, but I own the physical cel. And what make 
Japanese cels different then American cel? Both 
are plastic sheets with an image painted from 
behind. One last thing cels, wine, baseball 
cards, money and other collectibles are worth 
only as much as someone is willing to pay for 
them.
