I've since emailed both the seller and eBay 
regarding this matter. No reply from the seller, 
but eBay's Safe Harbor was very nice. Keeping my 
fingers crossed for a decent outcome.

Thanks to those who offered advice and support! 
And to D.G. Requiem and ev'ryone, please know I 
was not dissin' eBay or its sellers! I bid and 
buy from eBay often (maybe too often ~_^) and 
have sold via the auctions myself! Most are 
decent, friendly folks, it's just I managed to 
find one unscrupulous seller and must act 
accordingly. 

So... can't we all just get along?! ^_^
