As I mentioned, I was waiting a half-hour early 
in line, which placed me among the first 20 
people in the line.  But not only did Kawamoto 
arrived late, he took so much time doing sketches 
that only 5 people out of 60-70 people in line 
made it to him!

What made this incredibly worse for me was that I 
also could have gone to the Matsubara (AMG chief 
animator) session instead, which was occurring at 
the same time, and have my AMG Movie cel signed 
by him.  Furthermore, during this same hour I 
could have headed to Kia Asamiya's OPEN autograph 
session at the art exhibit and gotten one of my 
oversized Silent Mobius cels (w/ background)
signed.  On top of that, Mikimoto (Macross 
character designer) was granting autographs at 
the Art Vivant booth in the exhibit hall.

So all in all, instead of wasting my time in the 
Kawamoto line, I could have gotten 1-3 autographs 
during the same hour!!!

I ended up waiting since 3AM Sunday morning for 
the open autograph session in order to get most 
of the signatures I wanted (I ended up missing 
Kia Asamiya; but if I didn't waste my time in the 
Kawamoto line the day before... well, you know 
the story!).

And sigh, I still have not obtained a sketch for 
2 years running now...
