I haven't tried the "possibly for sale" thing and 
I am not sure how people feel about that idea. I 
have heard a lot of people say they don't like it 
because it is sort of a private auction, but maybe 
people do prefer it to ebay. :-) 
I do sell cels on ebay, quite often. I am 
comfortable with ebay, because I sell non-cel 
items all the time. But this is different, because 
it is more about unsolicited offers on cels that 
you might not plan to sell at all, until someone 
writes and asks for it, stating that it is 
basically their "dream cel" and could you live 
without it...because they can't. So when that 
happens you might agree to it because the timing 
was right for one reason or another. And in that 
case, I wonder if you (anyone) would assume that 
that is an implication that they are not going to 
turn around and resell it. And in these cases it 
wasn't just implied, but stated firmly that they 
would not resell it (particularly on ebay) if I 
allowed them to buy it.  It is only that sort of 
sale that hurts my feelings. Anything else is fair 
game, if I put a price on it, or if I put it on 
ebay, I don't mind people reselling at all. I 
don't expect people to keep a cel forever because 
they got it from me, but I have another type of 
expectation, I guess, from people who ask for my 
personal cels.
