I so know what you are talking about.  I 
specifically say in both the auction and the e-
mails I send out that I don't accept checks, and 
I still get them every once in a while.  In those 
cases, I wait a full two weeks, sometimes a 
little more if I am busy and can't deposit it 
right away, before I'll mail the item.  Even 
worse, one time I had a winning bidder e-mail me 
and tell me they were in Germany, when I don't 
accept int'l bids.  They paid in cash though, so 
it was okay.  Still, the worst are the perople 
who just don't pay at all.
