I am pretty sure it was insured, it was sent ems 
from japan.  I didn't open it in front of them 
though, cause when i saw the package, i thought 
that it was bent but maybe the cel wasn't.  When 
i opened it up though it sure was.  After 
removing it from the package i could tell that 
someone had bent it back and forth a few times.
