Computer generated doesn't really mean higher 
quality of animation. In many cases I feel 
quality has suffered some. I've noticed that 
images become grainy when zoomed in, for example. 
Yeah, it's true they can pull off some digital 
tricks, and I think lain is a pretty good example 
of how cels can be combined with computers to 
cool effects. On the other hand, the characters 
in lain still were made with cels, and still 
looked smooth. On that note, I want higher 
quality anime and cels, personally ;)
