I'm not sure about this, but I noticed that the 
breaks in the black lines on the second layer 
(the one with the eye and the lines) 
correspond with the highlights in the more 
complete layer. It's possible that this is some 
kind of technique to use the effect of light more 
strongly, since usually the black lines are 
continuous and do not get lighter or darker. 
You see what I'm saying? Maybe someone 
else knows a little more. 

BTW, YOU'RE the one who got that cel! I was 
eyeing it, trying to track down the money when 
I saw it go on hold. I just love the image even 
though I don't recognize the show. Very 
expessive, great profile. Anyhow, enjoy it, okay!
