yes, i agree with your statement. i do feel that 
sailormoon is a good example; however the plot is 
very good at times; but then all of a sudden an 
epsidoe comes along that could have been omitted 
and would not have effected the eventual outcome 
of the series; this is something i hate in SM [i 
do really still like it ^-^ ] this is what i 
don't like in DBZ either, they sometimes drag a 
prep. for a fight to long (like 1 or 2 episodes) 
or have an episode where a small thing is 
completed and the rest is just waiting for the 
battle [i like dbz too; it rocks!!vegeta and 
trunks 4 ever!!!!]    ~raptor

note: not all aspects are required to make a good 
story; for example hamlet is a tragic hero and 
lacks some of the aspects that Joseph Campbell 
states are common in a hero; yet it is a quite 
good story
