First of all, I will never tell my parents the
extent of my cel collection, or the price I paid
for my cels. They think the few cels they know I
have were a waste of money, and they hate
anything to do with japan, for some irrational
reason.
Secondly, all of my most precious possessions
were discarded by my parents while I was away
this past summer, so my cels are now my most
precious possesion, and there's no way I'm
letting them get their grubby little hands on
them. (hides cels protectively)
On anther note, I freely admit cels have a hold
on me, but unlike a true addiction, I have a
budget, a limit, and know when to stop -- even if
I don't want to -- although I have a harder time
stopping for Xelloss cels than others ^^; I
honestly don't know how much I've overall spent
on cels, although I'm sure it's a very high
number I'd rather not think about ^_-
I find animation art to be beautiful, and I love
to own a piece of my favorite characters. I find
anime to be a stress relief from life, and
although I don't always have time to watch my fav
series in animated form, I always have time to
look at my cels, and remember the related
episode. I love having a website, for then I can
take the images with me pretty much where ever I
go =) I generally buy cels for myself, with the
exception of oneI bought due to the persuasion of
my last housemate, who never wants me to sell
that particular one, in memory of her (I miss
her, she was a great friend)
I dislike selling cels, I grow so attached to
them, but I might as well show off the reason for
the resurrection of my sale page -- I hope to get
around to updating my gallery soon.
