Nothing "newer" : that's the oldest and easiest
way to do a forum. "Threading" messages like
here is far harder to program.

Also, non-threaded forum are totaly unusable
when you have a lot of traffic. A page of this
forum contain 30 topics. I let you calculate
how many topics that make in 6 months : more
than 2900. (for over 12100 messages and 47MB).
Try to "navigate" that in a linear way.
